More often than not, when we have a patient at hospital, that is when we individually get to address the conditions of the medical staff, and it is this state of affairs which induces the relatives and friends of the sick person to look for some thing as an incentive to see the medical personnel deliver. This is greatly blamed on President Museveni’s government where it is deliberate to have pay to civil servants lag as other things are worked on. Until our Members of Parliament critically scrutinize the budget and ensure that basic pillars for the proper functioning of the economy are worked on, the decay shall continue. At the same time, the MPs have the duty to see right procedures in place to safeguard the tax payer money.
I have been seeing John Wafula ride around in his Mercedes Benz car at times driven by his son, little did I know that John’s days were numbered. For those who stay and or work in Kajjansi, it is right to say that Uganda Clays was the major reason this trading centre eventually evolved. So, the death of a former Chief Executive Officer of Uganda Clays is not a simple matter. May the good Lord comfort the wife and children as well as immediate relatives.

Orombi slams Mulago as he mourns Uganda Clays ex-boss

The medical services at Mulago Hospital are wanting and unbefitting to the public, archbishop of the Anglican Church Henry Luke Orombi has said.
“I went to Mulago Hospital to visit John Wafula (late) but I was disappointed with their service. I spent over 20 minutes in the corridors with several patients with no services,” the cleric said yesterday while addressing mourners at All Saints Cathedral during a funeral service of former Chief Executive Officer of Uganda Clays John Wafula.
Wafula succumbed to cancer at Mulago Hospital on Friday and will be buried today in Dabani, Busia.
“All the staff of the hospital were just bypassing the archbishop until a nurse who knew me came and directed me. May God prevail over Mulago Hospital,” he said.
Archbishop Orombi urged his flock to emulate Wafula, whom he described as a man of God who worked for the development of the community and the church.
Chief Justice Benjamin Odoki described Wafula as a man with upright morals who did not steal public funds.
Wafula also served as a board member of Uganda Securities Exchange, Capital Markets Authority, Secretary for Finance for the UPC party during in the Obote II regime.
