THE CATHOLIC CHURCH SHOULD RE-LOCATE/PHASE OUT ACADEMIC INSTITUTIONS AT NAMUGONGO TO SEE SHRINE DEVELOPMENT
It is true that the 3rd June Martyrs Day is a very big do at Namugongo. The strategy is to see Uganda and both the Catholic and Church of Uganda live to the occasion. My opinion is that the catholic Church thinks about re-locating the Catholic founded schools in the area to pay way for a bigger deal the Martyrs day has become. When a person gets to Namugongo, it is certain that a lot needs to be done in terms of accommodation, catering for those with goods, and if well managed, Namugongo could get also very popular as is the case with Mecca. The Catholic Church may need to seriously think about getting space that can cater for the services needed as well as facilities and business for the coming years by re-locating schools hence have the land for such developments.
