IS SPENDING 16BN ON THE 50TH INDEPENDENCE ANNIVERSARY FOR UGANDA VALUE FOR MONEY?

It is appreciated by many of us that 50 years is a relatively big time as an independent country. In fact much publicity done by Uganda should now bear Uganda at 50 years as was the case of Ghana. Uganda should plan to make money when an official logo is made which may be used variously instead of spending for jubilation. At this moment in time when shs 16bn is being budgeted for the celebrations, our planners should be more focused on the pressing issues the country faces. The budget for celebrations should come from income made from souvenirs, if shs 16 bn can be mobilized, it is best for the country to look at means of solving the pressing problems like mass unemployment, the deepening of democracy, which should see the re-instating of term limits as a necessary condition to stability as well as the endorsing of the federal system of governance that can address the economic imbalance in the country.

The LOGO shall be used expressly and exclusively on the product(s) for which the license has been granted. 4.
