A PRAYER FOR UGANDA

Dear loving Father and our creator, we the people of Uganda have sinned against your ideal ways, we practice what is wrong in your eyes, though time and again we are told what is rightful. Good Lord, you see our leaders, many have deviated from what they are called for, instead they are busy reaping where they did not sew. Some go to the extent of enacting laws to justify the wrong schemes they wish to implement. Many have taken advantage of the have-nots and gone as far as eating what is due to the disadvantaged. Good Lord, many of us do what is not worth in your eyes. The prayer to you Lord, is to help touch the hearts of the people of Uganda, more so our leaders, some of whom see themselves as next to you, yet YOU have the ability to see life out of them at will. Good Lord, help change the destiny of Uganda which is supposed to be a Pearl of Africa, but unfortunately, now messed up with all sorts of evil, bad schemes, name it. God you gave us natural resources in abundance, unfortunately, a few influentials are amassing all the wealth and leaving crumbs to majority of the people of Uganda, the one reason behind the increasing poverty and impoverishment. God, touch the hearts of the greedy so that the impoverished can also enjoy a decent living. Lord, hear my prayer. William Kituuka Kiwanuka THE IMPORTANCE OF PRAYER
Prayer...A weapon in our spiritual arsenal... Prayer is simply our communication with God. Included in our prayers are words of praise, thanks, worship as well as our requests. In Philippians 4:6 says, Be anxious for nothing , but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. God is telling us that we need to be continually praying and our prayers should be our first resort not the last. Please let me know your prayer requests below in the guestbook and I would happy to pray for you whatever your circumstances.
