DONORS SHOULD KINDLY GIVE MORE BOOST TO OUR HEALTH SYSTEM

I wish to appeal to the donor community to help our health infrastructure. Just the week that ended, I had the challenge to make an appeal for funds on behalf of Robinah Namukasa. Namukasa should be getting treatment from Uganda, but the facilities and may be man power are a problem. I see this as a critical area the donor community can help boost as well as salaries for the consultants who can do this type of operations. There are many people who need to be operated on and their cases need to be referred to India hospitals. It is terrible to see a desperate patient looking around to raise astronomical sums for treatment abroad.
